Mods to My Driveline Include;
- Quaife Six Speed Gearkit
- Quaife ATB Differential
- AUTOTECH Lightweight Flywheel (10 lbs.)
- Sachs Power Clutch
- VW Corrado Based Hydraulic Clutch Lines
- VW Corrado Based Cable Shifter Linkage
- VW Corrado Pedal Assembly

To install the Quaife gearkit, many components had to be changed. My original transmission was the
VW 02Y, a close ratio, 5 speed transmission. The 6 speed kit does not fit into this gearbox so I purchased
a VW Corrado gearbox, VW 02A.

This gear kit comes as a box of gears. |

Who knows how it would have turned out if I would had built it.
A scoop near 5th gear was grinded down on the gearbox so everything would fit correctly. He also had
to drill out rivots on the stock differential to get the gear off.

Many other areas of my driveline had to be changed as well. My Jetta came stock with the following,
which had to be replaced:
- Cable clutch
- Rod style shifter linkage
- 210mm clutch and flywheel
- Jetta Dash (because of the mechanical speedometer)
- Jetta pedal assembly
- Jetta starter
